In regular commission meeting of July 9, 2012, the Union County Commission unanimously approved the adoption of the County Financial Management Act of 1981. The finance director was appointed December 1, 2012 and implementation plan was executed April 1, 2013.
The finance office administers the financial transactions for the County Government, Board of Education, Highway Department and Emergency Medical Services.
